YOU “LOVE”

TO HATE US!

REACTIONS to ACMTC teachings are amazing. God gives us His Word, which the Bible says is “like as FIRE, saith the LORD; and like a HAMMER that BREAKETH the rock in pieces” (Jer. 23:29), and people HATE US for it.

     We are required to be the perfect example of “civilized niceness,” politically correct and perfectly friendly to all, absent of any common sense of right and wrong, good and evil — under the modern “Protestant-pastoral-always-smiling-and-never-correcting” mentality prescribed to Christian leaders by some ever-pervading (Bible inspired?) perspective of how Christians, especially leaders, are supposed to act.

     But so often, the people who are holding us to this standard are UTTERLY FAILING IT THEMSELVES AS THEY REVILE US OVER THE E-MAIL, MESSAGE PHONE AND EVEN IN PERSONAL ATTACKS AGAINST US.

     Where is THEIR love. Are they not under the same obligation as we are — to be “nice”? WE are required to be “loving,” but they are allowed to HATE us? Remember, we are particularly addressing those who are claiming to be “Christian.”

     So, it seems, by the example of their behavior, that Christians are absolutely required to “love” everyone EXCEPT those they want to accuse of not being loving.

     They HATE those whom they accuse of HATING.

     I guess their condition is worse than ours, because they actually ARE HATING, while we are only being accused of hating.

WHERE HAVE WE HATED YOU?

First of all, the people who HATE us are, most of the time, people whom we’ve never met, never talked to, never had the chance to pray with or discuss Scripture with; people who have, generally speaking, taken one thing said (out of context) and then accepted it without even testing it. Often, what is accepted is something that was said by an ex-member or Christ hater who prides themself in HATING us. That’s like picking fruit from a rotten vine.

     It is true that old sayings don’t mean much unless we practice them. “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” How come we are judged by you, simply on the basis of one word or two, taken out of context?

     Most people do not read all our articles, especially not our Px2 Files that defend us in light of the truth against our accusers, much like the Words that Jesus spoke in self-defense: “For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! But wisdom is justified of all her children.” (Luke 7:33-35, KJV)

     People who accuse rashly, not verifying the facts or hearing both sides (as the Proverbs speaks about), are not wise.

     Matthew Henry describes accusers this way:

     “Ill-will never speaks well. See the malice of wicked people, and how they put the worst construction upon every thing they meet with in the gospel, and in the preachers and professors of it; and hereby they think to depreciate them, but really destroy themselves” (Matthew Henry’s Commentary on the Whole Bible, Luke 7:33-35).

“YOU CULTISTS are not kind!”

     Again, WHERE IS THEIR KINDNESS TOWARDS US? I suppose, since we are SO “hateful,” that these loving Christians should just HATE us in RETALIATION and AGGRESSION, JUDGING AND CONDEMNING US FOR BEING JUDGMENTAL AND CONDEMNING.

     The truth is, WE don’t CONDEMN ANYONE. It is God, the Bible, His Word and even men’s own consciences that condemn them. We are simply seeking to obey Christ by TEACHING the nations what God, the Bible, His Word and Truth have to say about morality, justice, judgment, life and death, Heaven and Hell, SIN AND PUNISHMENT AND THE NECESSARY CORRECTIONS OF GOD.

     GOD, LIKE A GOOD FATHER, CHASTISES HIS STRAYING PEOPLE IN AN EFFORT TO GUIDE THEM INTO TRUTH AND OBEDIENCE. What GOOD father would not do the same? What good employer would not keep his business in order? What good teacher would not keep his students in line? We have been LIED TO in this generation, and we have failed even common sense, as we have been taught that somehow we are superior for being “nice” and “letting things go” when it comes to WICKED human behavior and even outright DISOBEDIENCE. Look at the American society as the fruit of this.

     In fact, we need to be MORE disciplined, kept MORE in line by God, and we must LOVE this “DISCIPLINED/DISCIPLE” WAY MORE each day. (Did you know that the word “disciple” in the Bible means “DISCIPLINED one”?)

     If you didn’t know, the Bible clearly says in Hebrews 12:6-8, “For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes. You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline? Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God's children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all]” (Amplified Bible).

     We would gladly accept the challenge of a debate with anyone who seriously loves truth and is not simply looking to waste time hurling unfounded and ignorant accusations against us without showing true Christian love towards us and giving us a chance to defend God, the Bible, His Word, Truth and our LOVE OF JESUS AND HIS WAY.
